Forest adventures, dazzling light trails, cosy getaways and even a classic pantomime all feature on Away Resorts’ festive schedule for winter 2022.
Guests are invited to make it a winter to remember this year – thanks to a dazzling array of seasonal events at various Away Resorts’ parks.
The UK staycations operator has recently unveiled a spectacular programme of events at 17 of their UK parks, beginning with the launch of its wonderful Forest of Light installation at Sandy Balls Park next month, running from 4th November to 2nd January.
Guests can experience the magic of Christmas as they follow the Forest of Light trail through Acorn Place – enjoying the illuminations as they go – before settling in for some local and seasonal food, taking in a good old-fashioned pantomime and maybe having a visit from Santa Claus himself!
Prices start from £429 for a party of six enjoying a two-night trip in December, staying in one of Sandy Balls’ spectacular superior Caravans (arriving 19 December).
Guests at Away Resorts Tattershall Lakes Country Park can also enjoy a full Winterfest running from 04 Nov – 01 Jan, featuring spell-binding forest adventures, seasonal food, arts and craft sessions and hilarious pantomime.
Tattershall lakes also have their seasonal Christmas market featuring produce, gifts, and items from local Lincolnshire crafts people. In addition to this, guests are invited to step into their new spectacular Speigeltent.
Speigeltent’s (meaning mirror-tent in Dutch) is a traditional round tent ornately carved with dark wood panels and decorated in stained glass. Here, guests can enjoy the delights of stage shows, themed activities, and wintry treats to create the perfect festive atmosphere
Prices at Tattershall Lakes start from £113 for an 8-berth comfort caravan pet free departing on 2st December for two nights.
For holidaymakers after cosy accommodation, bubbling hot tubs and someone else cooking Christmas dinner (and doing the washing up!) – Retallack in Cornwall, Mill Rythe on Hayling Island in Hampshire, or The Bay Filey in Yorkshire all have exactly that.
Speaking of the events, Away Resorts, CEO, Carl Castledine, said: “We’ve become famous for our winter spectaculars – and 2022 is set to be no different! Following the pandemic and a year full of change, this year it’s all about spending quality time together with family and friends; making memories in a truly stunning location without having to break the bank, and we’re excited to welcome our guests to experience all the festive fun that Away Resorts has to offer.”
