Forest adventures, dazzling light trails, cosy getaways and even a classic panto all feature on Away Resorts’ schedule

Guests are being invited to make it a winter to remember this year – thanks to a dazzling array of seasonal events at Hampshire’s Sandy Balls resort.

The popular holiday destination has just unveiled a spectacular programme of events, beginning with the launch of its wonderful Forest of Light installation next month (6 November).

From then until late December, visitors will be able to take their pick of a whole range of festive activities, including live performances, entertainment and family fun days.

Guests can experience the magic of Christmas as they follow the Forest of Light trail through Acorn Place – enjoying the illuminations as they go – before settling in for some local and seasonal food, taking in a good, old-fashioned pantomime and maybe having a visit from Santa Claus himself!

Set in the heart of the New Forest, Sandy Balls offers a stunning selection of luxury lodges and homes, including new for this year, Esme accommodation. With two bedrooms and two bathrooms, an outdoor deck and even a king size bed, it’s perfect for a romantic, winter getaway or festive family trip.

Prices start from £167 for a party of four enjoying a two-night trip in December, staying in one of Sandy Balls’ famous wooden lodges (arriving 6 December).
