Mott MacDonald expands its presence in India with new Bengaluru office

Mott MacDonald, the global engineering, management and development consultancy, celebrated the inauguration of its new Bengaluru office yesterday, signalling the firm’s growing business in India and the wider region.

Inaugurated by Chandru K Iyer, Deputy High Commissioner for Karnataka and Kerala and HM Deputy Trade Commissioner – South Asia, the new office adds to Mott MacDonald’s existing network of principal offices in Delhi-Noida, Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Chennai as well as over 20 site offices.

Mott MacDonald has been in India for over 50 years working with a wide range of national and international clients, including the Government of India, the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, TATA and JCB.

Mott MacDonald works across urban planning, transport, manufacturing and industrial design, energy, built environment, skills development, water, and health.

The opening of the office was attended by Shiva Sankar Acharya, Managing Director for South Asia at Mott MacDonald, Lijo George, Manager of Global Delivery Services for India, along with senior staff and staff members from the new office.

Chandru K Iyer, Deputy High Commissioner for Karnataka and Kerala and HM Deputy Trade Commissioner – South Asia, said: “I am glad to see British companies increasing their footprint in India and across South Asia.
