After nine months of building and organisation, this ambitious unveiling represents an area of growth for the SECOM business. The company is expanding and consolidating teams, bringing several operations under one roof to enable faster response times and create more efficient internal processes.

The move has already created new job opportunities for the people of Kent and represents a growth in economic opportunity for the county.

The new office is a collaboration of two integral SECOM divisions that work closely together under one roof. National Accounts, who handle operations for SECOM’s many large commercial clients, are located on the top floor with the telesales division and the Physical & Special Projects team located on the first floor. The Physical Team are responsible for delivering top-of-the-range physical security measures, such as grilles, grates, and shutters, as well as innovative fire stopping solutions.

The office also includes a state of the art workshop on the ground floor, which is responsible for the design and fabrication of bespoke physical security installations.

As part of the project, SECOM has installed a new and dynamic demo room. This is a unique space for clients and staff to experience the latest innovation from SECOM products. The office has also been outfitted with bespoke meeting rooms, which will play a critical role in developing new businesses and supporting the work of various sales teams.

The official opening was conducted by Minoru Takezawa and the entire SECOM Board of Directors, including Alan Blake, Neil Fanthome-Hodgson and Paul Weaver.

On the opening of the Rochester branch, Director of Sales and Marketing, Alan Blake, said:

“Everyone at SECOM is delighted to be able to finally open this brand-new office, which represents a massive leap forward for the brand, our colleagues and our customers. This dedicated Physical Security space will allow us to deliver the same SECOM quality, faster, and to more people than before.”

“With an influx of new opportunities to the area, we also hope to deliver new economic opportunities to Rochester, Kent and the wider region. We look forward to the future of this new office and all the great innovations our teams will deliver.
