The Summer of Fun! Away Resorts Reveals Stunning List of Family-Friendly Events and Festivals

Holidaymakers are in for a real treat this summer – as Away Resorts launches its biggest ever selection of family-friendly festivals and get-togethers. The UK staycation operator has just begun its colourful 2022 events schedule – packed with live music, amazing stage shows and plenty of dazzling indoor and outdoor activities. And they’re all free!Guests can take their pick from a massive range of carefully-curated festivals, designed to make sure everyone has a great time.

The Music Weekender on 29th – 30th July is set to be a special one at St Ives Bay – Providing a solid two days of live music, it will include secret guests and plenty of great food and drink options at a range of Away Resorts locations throughout the summer. Other dates include 5th – 6th August at Mersea Island, Essex. 

Having fun and getting messy is the order of the day at The Colour Festival – taking place at key Away Resorts parks throughout the summer.This is a celebration of all things colour, with live performances, fun activities and of course, a giant colour throw! Dates include 23rd July at Whitecliff Bay, 31st July at St Ives Bay, 7th August at Mersea Island, Essex and 6th August at Barmouth Bay in North Wales. 

Travelling with little ones? They can dress up and go crazy at Dino World, a celebration of all things prehistoric, with the chance to get up close and personal with some amazing dinosaurs. Feel the roar! Dates include 20th August at Tattershall Lakes.

Get caked in it! The infamous Custard Pie Fight is an opportunity to round up your families and friends for some super pie slinging, face splatting madness! Dates include 28th August at Whitcliff Bay, 28th August at Tattershall Lakes and 28th August at Cleethorpes Pearl.
